Collared Post Card – Epworth League Convention, Toronto, (YRK) 1897, used to Brooklyn, New York
Very similar to the cards issued for the Victorian Era Exposition but the Convention took place in July of 1897 in advance of the Exposition.
From Wikipedia: “Founded in 1889, the Epworth League is a Methodist young adult association for people aged 18 to 35. It had its beginning at Cleveland, Ohio‘s Central Methodist Church on May 14 and 15, 1889″
Card is in good condition other than a wrinkle at the LR
