A hard-to-find book. Comes with the complete set of 14 plates. Published by the New England Stamp Co., Boston, Mass., 1911
The book itself was owned by the Hawaiian Philatelic Society. Their handstamp appears on the back of each of the plates as well as on the title page in the front of the book.
Condition ….. a little wear and tear on the covers and fading on the spine but intact. I believe you would call it foxing on the inner covers, however no odour or sign of mildew, so is perhaps just toning. The plates themselves have some very minor toning here and there but are surprisingly well preserved. Plate 1 has a tiny tear where the plates are removed from the folder inside the front cover. Inside the book is some toning from a couple of ferns that must have been pressed way back when. Otherwise inside pages are fairly good with very little toning or foxing.
