I have added a new category to my listings called “Starter Collections”
My intention is to add small groupings, collections to this category from around the world.
These lots will normally be priced between $5 and $30 and discounted from catalogue values by 50 to 70%.
These lots will appeal to customers looking to start out with a particular country or topic without breaking the bank.

What philatelic groups do you belong to?
I have been a long standing member of the British North American Philatelic Society (BNAPS), the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada (RPSC), and the American Philatelic Society (APS).
I volunteered as the Secretary – Treasurer of the Postal History Society of Canada (PHSC) for a number of years and am a member.
Locally I am a member of the Toronto Postcard Club (TPC), I volunteered as the STAMPFEST Show Chairman for a number of years for the Kitchener Waterloo Philatelic Society (KWPS).

Do you offer lower valued stamps or postal history for sale?
By all means I have a significant amount of material available for sale at lower prices. For now I have chosen to only list items that retail for $5 and up but would be happy to provide a quote on items of lesser value. I also intend to provide links to lists where I will offer material at more reasonable prices for example 1950 – 1980’s Plate Blocks, Complete Booklets, Used sets etc. Check out my Blog page for the links to these lists.

Can I search for a specific county in Ontario postal history?
I have attempted to add the county abbreviations (three characters) to any listings so that they are easily searchable. The abbreviations for Ontario counties are as per the Robert C. Smith Ontario Post Offices listing. Click on this link:

Just type in the county abbreviation that you are looking for into the search bar. If I have anything available it will show up (postmarks, postcards, covers etc).
For example search on YRK for York county, WAT for Waterloo county. Just click on the link above for the full list of abbreviations.
